Falling Again

My friends heard the news and without a bit of surprise
suggested it a blessing in disguise
And I pretended not to care while putting on airs
 when you said goodbye
Though trying to convince me I found it hard to perceive
just how much fun indeed this could possibly be
They said why take sand to the beach, brother
there’s plenty more fish in the sea

It's a tug of war between the joy and the pain
Now I’m back to this ole rabbit hole and falling again

When I look to the sky at the clouds are passing by I
see your face
When every single thing I do, reminds me of you then I
know I’m falling
And when the winds blow just right on a quiet summer night I
hear you call my name
And the story never fails like a children’s fairy tale
Like Alice down the rabbit hole, I’m Falling Again Falling Again

I said Please don’t try and change me I like to
come and go as I please
Memories of you and I together now
knocks me to my knees
Like sand through my fingers or the
forest for the trees
You were the love of my life, but I was
 too blind to see

Well, I made up my mind but too late to escape the pain
Now I’m back to this ole rabbit hole and falling again

When I look to the sky at the clouds are passing by, I
see your face
When every single thing I do, reminds me of you then I
know I’m falling
And when the winds blow just right on a quiet summer night I
hear you call my name
And the story never fails like a children’s fairy tale
Like Alice down the rabbit hole, I’m Falling Again Falling Again
